The .gov means it’s official.
Federal government websites often end in .gov or .mil. Before sharing sensitive information, make sure you’re on a federal government site.

There are some exceptions to this rule. During the USAJOBS application process, you may be sent to an agency specific application system that DOES NOT contain a .mil or .gov. Rest assured, if you apply to any job through USAJOBS.gov your information is safe and secure.

The job title opens the JOA in a new tab.
The "Who may apply" link opens the JOA in a new tab and anchors to the Who May Apply section within the JOA.
The level one agency should be the agency listed.
The date should be in the format MM/DD/YYYY.

Usability

After a user has selected a job listing the JOA Summary should be present as they learn more or apply for the job.
